Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Finally got my Grail pair. Jordan 4 Retro Premium Snakeskin

Jordan Metallic V

I finally bit. I had the Pinnacle V, which was a mess of leather just too nice to wear. It wasn't really a V, although I got a good impression of fit, which more or less feels similar to the IV for me. I didn't get the Metallic V at first because in hand they underwhelming when seeing the work on the midsole. I mean I contemplated this, the Neymar, the White Cement, maybe some other pairs.

On foot is a different experience. Definitely on the upper half of pairs of Jordan retros for me. Currently counts as my first and my last Jordan. Too bad I don't have the shoes with the tin anymore.

And another "finally" purchase: the Adidas BYW X (Alphatype collection).

The BYW X released a little over a year ago. I really wanted it, but the good debut color was limited and I didn't want to fork over resale on something I didn't know would fit (because lol Adidas). Then they came out with wack ass colors non-stop (and to this day). This one was the only one that looked beater friendly, but I knew these joints were sitting because Adidas dropped the MSRP straight up.

Got these for $103 shipped on StockX. Maybe can do better, but can't be bothered. I'm honestly surprised that my interest and curiosity in the shoe is still there. I have the regular BYW. Moves well and you kinda feel like you can go into basketball motions, but this more purpose-made BYW X is another story. Fits super close and the way Boost is used is much more...defined.

It's not like other basketball shoes where they tried to downtune the foreoot Boost and retain the feeling to a degree. It's just trying to be an alternative to other dense, responsive foams. Shoe feels pretty promising.
