Secondary market! I tend to usually lean towards auction sites. Consignment shops/apps are a big source.

Jordan 1 Dark Marina

Kinda is "just another Jordan 1" release, but I keep getting weird luck where I don't even enter raffles or rush into the store. Also imo this is a colorway where all the lace options work really well, it's kinda hard to pick, actually.

In 1985 my mom took me to the local shoe store as I was in need of new shoes, she told me to pick what I wanted and she'd meet me at the checkout.

My favorite colour is red, the only shoe with red on it was a Nike basketball shoe called Air Jordan, so I got fitted for them. My mom about choked at the price, but as my foot had stopped growing she ponied up the cash.

I was the only kid in town wearing men's Air Jordan's, loved those things. A few years later I got the AJ 5 with the strange clear toggle too.

Last year a friend of mine said those old shoes would still be worth something, I was sure he was wrong, but as they'll be in boxes at my parent's house somewhere I told them not to dump them if they come across them just in case they are worth something

Awesome story! AJ 5 was my first Jordan as well & it was purchased only after pleading with my mom even though they were a bit tight. Those shoes are long gone now, but I still one of the lacelocks

I would say they are. There is some extreme cushioning in the bottom of the shoe to give it some nice bounce and add to one's height as well

cool cool....I found that some of the Lebrons were a half size small, like the 6 and 8.

how about the ankle support? looks like the whole upper is flywire. I take it not much support there?
