Any Sneakerheads In The House?

Not sneakers, but I picked these 4 up recently. I absolutely hate the Nike discontinued the Hyper Elite Sock line. So comfortable (in my opinion) and really durable. The other Hyper Elite pairs that I have, I've been wearing them regularly for the past about 10 years and they barely show any wear. Most of the socks that I get ahold of more recently start showing significant wear and even holes in less than 2 years.

Aye, Nerf KD4's are coming back this year to match those on the left.

LeBron NXXT AMPD "First Game" (top pair)
to match the AZG "First Game" (bottom pair)

So far I like these more than the LeBron 21, mainly because the fit is working out better.
They basically feel like an updated AZG. A bit closer fitting, maybe a bit lighter. Still breaking in the cushion.

I Was actually considering the Nerfs! I remember when the originally released, and they were one of the few KDs I loved. I definitely gotta look into the other pairs you recommended. I ended up seeing a pair of your most recent pickup at the Nike outlet pretty close to me but I didn't try them on. Seeing additional pictures is making me want to go back and thoroughly check them out

Anta Kai 1

The Nike Kyrie line has arguably been my most favorite line, dare I say more than the Kobe line because of function performance/preference.

This move to Anta kinda had some high anticipation. The Shockwave 5 Pro from a few months back is like the best performance shoe atm for me, and the idea there might be added influence from Kyrie's line (because there was some consistency there) could make for an more favorable package.

In short, the platform is reminiscent of some past Kyrie models. The fit surprisingly is more accommodating in space (in the forefoot), but I didn't feel that it carried over any highlight attributes of the Shockwave 5 Pro. The cushion is more subdued (which for me actually is perfectly fine), and the traction doesn't quite have the same exceptional bite (which was probably what I had most anticipation for).

I do like it as a dual purpose casual/hoop option. I find it relatively more comfortable than other shoes in the office, and then it's just ready to go for any outdoor work.

Jordan Luka 1 PF "Signal Blue"

Let go of my original black/white pair because after a while, the close fit was just more of a problem with longer/repeated wears. So went up half a size with the PF cut and basically, it's looking like it can stay in rotation. This is also the colorway I originally wanted, but I wanted to get it under retail, which I did.

Nike KD4 Retro "Weatherman"

I shouldn't, because coming from my Galaxy retro pick up a few months ago, this thing is just awful to wear — let alone for basketball — but I had to. Available at retail in person. I don't know how long until I decide to wear this outside. I have to go somewhere to have the outsole break in appropriately because these start very sticky.

But 2012. I think that's when I joined this forum. I wanted the KD4 after the KD3 I had, but I couldn't afford these because cycling was my priority, and with that was spending on my first Oakley pair (Radarlock). So, funny that years later I can get them only to find they're like one of the last things I'd want to wear.
