Any upcoming X Metals Up for Release

@Rando : :welcome:

Lots of angers and frustration from Oakley lovers toward the Lux taking over of Oakley and release not-up-to-expectation products.

Example: Oakley recent release got hit hard on the reselling platform: PB2 (600$ & now about 250$), Badman & Madman (retail 400$ & now about 130$) , Carbon Prime (600$ and now about 300$).

IMO "if" they would release another X-Metal, retail would be rip-off price range (1.000$ up)... but AFAI, it is a no no

It's a no win situation for Oakley/Luxoticca. Casting titanium is a dirty business, so re-starting production in the US would be expensive to do properly and not have the EPA banging on the door (although well within Lux's budget). If they take production to China they won't be be real X-Metals and the people who like X-Metals won't buy.

It would be nice if Luxottica would get their cheque book out and give Oakley some proper halo models again though. Ti printing keeps edging closer and closer to being practical for small parts.
