I purchased a large and I am 6' and 185. I usually wear a large in shirts. This seems a bit snug, not sure how it is suppose to fit. I would assume close to the body, as in snug.

I found the AP vests to fit smaller and more snug also...

Take care that you don't buy one of the women's models. I've seen sellers who didn't know that there are two types.
