I’ve heard different people’s opinions. Is Badman and Madman considered an X metal?

Great looking frame! It's a shame it's not made out of titanium, and of course the spring hinge issue, and being overpriced. Other than that....

The question is simple and tricky at the same time.

Collector purists says X Metal is *only* Titanium, so NO, they are not X Metal.
(They are both made of Aluminum)

Oakley marketed them as X Metal, so the manufacture decided to say they are.

So, perhaps the answer is both?
Yes for some, no for others....who is right?

I have and like my pair of Madman’, though I definitely do not consider it to be an X-metal. I’d sooner consider a Pitboss or any of the O-aluminum frames to be an X-metal than either of those aluminum frames. Would also consider either Scar or Splice to be more akin to an X-metal too.

I much love my mars but hearing how fragile these can be, I decided to hold off. Too bad they’re not true x metals, but love the overall design and craziness of it
