Best replacement Gen 1 E-Wire Earsocks

Hi all,

HNY to you all.

I have a set of gen 1 E-Wires that could really do with a new set of earsocks. Having looked back at all of the threads on this subject I can see that there are a number of options (get lucky and find OEM replacements, use Romeo earsocks, use aftermarket rubber) but I was wondering if anyone had any experience on which (if any) of the aftermarket rubber options are actually the same shape as the e-wire socks (slightly triangular), rather than just being a generic fit that fits any wires (as most seem to be).

If the aftermarket options are just generic fit, then using x-metal rubber feels like the best option to at least keep some semblance of OEM.

Thanks @Dbninc - I had a look at his list and couldn’t see any unfortunately… hence thinking OEM might be a long shot!

Please take a photo of what you have (including what the ends look like) and also the exact length of the earsocks and I can check if I have oem similar/matching.

Hence my original question re the profile of other brands as compared to OEM.
