Since I started collecting about a couple of decades ago, I have to say eBay. But there a definitely some great sellers on here(but the postage is what kills it for me!). I live in England, hence the stupidly expensive (comparative) mailing costs.

I would say the forum #1, then sites like eBay, OfferUp and Mercari. You just have to constantly watch for good deals and not delay if you see a good deal. Same for selling, the forum would be my first choice because there are a lot of good guys here to do transactions with.

Ebay blows, unless you can find a killer deal. Selling on Ebay you get bent over at least 14%, but actually figures more in the end.
