I just made a set too,i think its a great combo,the nice thing with carbon is you can do any color combo and it always works.

4th gen,translucent carbon I had originally installed polished pins......but reinstalled X metal pins,lenses are polarized customs cut by xmetalmaniac

Old has a more silverish finish to the carbon has more depth to me atleast. Not as black as the newer stuff. @vmotorman show a pic.. I miss mine when ready to let go or trade them let me know !

is that why my XS in the picture above (and one other i have) is a little less shiny than my 4th gen carbon juliet in that picture? they are a slight shade different. since they were both later model pairs i just thought they used a different shade of carbon on the Juliets...
