Just treat as another avenue of acquisition tbh. I have probably acquired more off Ebay than anywhere else, If as others have alluded to, You do your due diligence checks then its possible to acquire the right piece at the right price. Obviously not sure of your level of experience, Probably assume it's nearer the start of the learning curve but hey we've all got to start somewhere!
One thing to enquire about if buying X Metal's ( other than Romeo 1) is always ask how much flex there is in the Coupler (Nosebridge) as its a) a relatively straightforward procedure if you have experience, but b) daunting/expensive & potentially ruinous to do if you dont.
And don't think it will be just Ebay sellers who won't disclose this. The last pair I bought off here were probably the worst I've experienced in over 2 decades of collecting/Trading X Metal's. Fortunately I'm confident & adept at carrying out the repair......
