Does anyone know if you can fit oakley why 3 lenses onto oakley why 8 “frames” ?

I own a pair of why 8s and prefer the lense shape of the why 3s. I don’t see why the lenses on why 3s wouldn’t fit into why 8s but I’m no expert so wanted to ask if anyone knew for sure.

As long as the lenses are the same thickness it should work
