Well… they released the Juliet and R1 and charged like $13,000 for it maybe more and they released the leather mars and gouged us for $2300 so yea… they do

compare Polish prices:

2004 in Poland
-price of the apartment m2 = PLN 1,400/3.7 = $ 378
-mid specialist's salary in 2004 = PLN 1,600/3.7 = $432
-Mars Leater price = $315

2024 in Poland
-price of the apartment m2 = PLN 9,000/4 = $ 2,250
-mid specialist's salary in 2004 = PLN 9,000/4 = $2,250
-Mars Leater price = $2,300

from my perspective oakley metal prices looks a 15%-20% more but its not sky rocket

ps. and please remember that all prices of things from the USA in the EU were 20% more expensive because we have something called VAT tax - and the price we paid for the Mars Leater was not $315 but something closer to $340
