Did it get answered already or no - Do the standard lenses pop in an out easily for your average frog lens? Id like to get a properly colored lens in there asap.

it looks like there might be a hinge there. based on the pics. perhaps it holds in the standard lens. non custom lenses for a frog would be really annoying.

No there is a screw that holds the orbital together below the hinge area

C-metals are good
but hopefully a regular frog lenses fits because i have an ultra red ruby for these
