How do you determine value

I have a bunch of new old stock frogs/sunglasses I’m starting to list and sell. Many of them have sold on eBay in the last 90 days and I’ve been using that as a value guide. Any ideas on how to value ones that aren’t on eBay at all? Or a way to see what retail was when they came out? Thanks

O-review.com has retail prices listed on most pairs. Otherwise you can search the forum for sold pairs and see if the price is shown

If there are no recent eBay comps, try widening your search to other marketplaces like WorthPoint, Etsy, Poshmark, or even completed listings on international eBay sites. You can also check vintage catalogs, brand archives, or old advertisements online to get an idea of original retail pricing. Another option is to look at similar models from the same brand and era to estimate value based on style, condition, and rarity. If they are truly rare, you could start with a higher price and allow offers to test the market.
