It's been a good ride, but time to move on

[X-Metal Beast]

Hello OF people. Been an Oakley user for 24 years, 1st Oakley sunnies were a Juliet Emerald JE 2nd gen, bought brand new in 2000, shortly after that a Water Jacket, also bought brand new at the time, travelled the world with, and used the hell out o out of both of them. Amazingly, I still own them and will never get rid of those 2 , I didn't find this site until 2015, and that's when I really got into building up my stash. I was never a hard core collector, meaning I didn't have any room of my house looking like an Oakley store. I tried to wear everything that I had, and if I didn't I would just move them along to the next owner. At the peak I owned around 90 pairs, maybe 40 X-Metals, 15 Pit Boss 1, 6 Water/Racing Jackets, an OTT, a Medusa, and a few others. For the past 3 years I've been slowly selling most of my stuff, and although still have probably too many (according to my wife), I'm down to 9 X-Metals (4 Mars, 2 XS, 2 Juliet, 1 R1), 4 Pit Boss 1, and 4 Water/Racing Jackets. I dig the ones that I have and will continue rocking them, but as far as my activity here, I'm pretty much done.

It's been a heck of a ride, have made some really good friends that I hope to keep in contact with, have also made some natural enemies, but it was all for fun either way; I have no hard feelings towards anyone. Moving to the other side of the pond, focusing on my new life and business projects, so I know that I will not have too much time for hobbies, but I will lurk around every so often.
