Another piece up for sale to show my commitment to paying off debt for a future move.
Its the now more than ever hard to find 4 digit R1 or nick named the MJ R1.
Frame is excellent
Lenses are CC from another pair of R1 OEM non 4 digits and the orginial lenses are in the box for display so both lenses are there.
Red rubber is OEM while I am not sure about the orb gaskets I am going to lean on they are not just because those wear away so easily. After I took pics amd packed up I see the nose bombs may be a little wet but there are the ones that come with it and I will also throw in a couple more sets to make good on that feature.
Box is in semi worn condition. Im sure you see the staples LOL! It does still have the pencil writing on the bottom edge of the MATCHING SERIAL number. The foam inside must have deteriorated even more since I last looked so that will need to be dealt with. Its only on the bottom though. I already cleaned the sides away awhile back.
Its been a very long time since a Full setup has been offered but that being two years ago andbeing sold at $1700 (It was also in better shape to be fair), tells me todays market this would be a good buy at $1950 all in and insured shipping in USA. I am open to argument and advice on that price so feel free to comment your opinion, just be nice and not snarky. I am pretty sure this will sell at that or close to it. I always hate selling these grail pieces cause I usually find out later I sold too low LOL!
Right now I have an offer for a bit less than I want to agree to so please any intel on values is welcome in my PM or right here for CIVIL discussion.
