Juliet ID help - Authentic or Fakey?

I am absolutely not a fan of supporting the fake market…but often lament that these people doing fakes can’t channel their efforts into a legitimate quality replica parts replacement biz like the good folks at Linegear.
Honestly, I don't get why people don't have this mindset more often. Like if you're doing quality work, set up shop and do your thing. I guess there's just not enough of an actual downside to doing stuff like this :/

Everyone’s is calling these fake, can you get clearer pictures of the arm and back of nose piece
tell for me is the shape of the arms on the inside. never seen that flat part besides on a squarestem r1. then there is the icon that we cant see looks bulged. then the nosebridge looks too clean and symmetrical and slightly molded pins. as you know js with age would have saggy or slightly crooked/off nosebridge to orbital gaps.

then again it could be the pics. there is a .01 chance they are legit. lol

I was only joking. I would never mix X-metal titanium parts with anything lesser. Even if it was a spot on replica part.

Huh…even I thought there was a copper one…just Root Beer?

Rootbeer was the color of the rubber.
Ah got it—Root Beer referring to the rubber makes sense 👍

I’ve mostly seen people use it loosely for that copper-ish look, probably where the mix-up comes from.

As far as I know, true copper tone was only done on the Oakley Penny—never seen a confirmed OEM copper Oakley Juliet.

Agreed, clearer pics will settle it. I’ve requested detailed shots—will post when I have them.
