Hi everyone, I just found this forum. I was recently gifted a new pair of Savitars (satin chrome with Prizm black polarized). This got me interested, so I started digging through my old collection going back to the early 90's with the Japanese made Frogskins, old M-Frames and some zeros, all in near mint condition. I then found this forum.
My previous pair, and last new Oakley purchase, was a pair of Why 8.1's that finally bit the dust. There was some fracturing issues around the screw holes in the lens, and one chunk of lens finally came out. Not too bad for 17 years old though. This failure prompted my girlfriend to surprise me with the new Savitars, of which are the best Oakley's I've ever had or worn. Simply fantastic!
