forgive my lurking but i just noticed your black a-wire thick has hammerstems... ? never seen that before on an a-wire ! so cool ! (might just have to be my next purchase)

That's because that's first gen and not 2.0. I took off the shark fin rubbers and put on an aftermarket to protect my ears, and there you go.

Neglecting this thread for a month and have a few pairs to add. Here's my Copper Valve with polarized Ikon black.. Tried to do a black 'smoke' lug, but the black color doesn't come out as even as all the other colors. It's so dark that it's a little hard to see through

I tried to do a pearl white with purple lugs to go with the violet lenses I cut myself. But my cut job wasn't so good and I messed up the finish of that white frame. So I decided to put the violet lenses back into a black frame. So I picked out as good a black frame as I could find and threw and turned it into my Violet Valve.

I also found a better frame for the DWP lenses I cut myself.

My Forty Niner Valve. Gold with polarized Ikon +Red lenses. Did this frame several times as I tried to get my best work. And I messed up the paint job of a completed frame. That was awesome.

@cabowabocalifornia I'm a beginner too. So I'm also a little intimidated to show my stuff here, knowing there's customizers that are on whole different levels of awesome. These guys have got their degrees while I'm just learning the A,B,C's.

This is my pearl white Valve with polarized Ikon Ice (deep blue). This is perhaps the fourth or fifth white frame. I chipped the paint trying to get my Violet lenses into the last white frame. I originally meant to put my Violet lens in the white frame. But my lens cuts aren't the best and it messed up one paint job already. So I switched to the blue and will keep it like this for a little while.
