Greetings! Been here long enough to scan all about and am not seeing what I’m searching for. I get it this is gonna be like digging in a dirt pile and pulling out the Holy Grail but a guy can dream.
I’m searching for Mars or Craters beaters* (yeah you can stop laughing now
). Or most any X-Metal beaters* for various custom projects. I don’t care about boxes or coins or even lenses (I’ll likely match lenses to my customizations anyhow). I’ve had @THE X-MAN do a few (highly recommended!), have worked with @zwc0442 on a few, and most lately with @Bonz-1 on another couple. So need fodder for the mill!
The reason Mars or Craters is…among my many retirement hobbies is leatherwork. I’ll post a few pics on this for examples. I have been able to replicate the Mars leather bits…in crocodile, stingray, and ostrich. I’ve done it before on other stuff you’ll see below.
Sooo…keep me in mind with any X-Metal beaters*! Many thanks O-Teammates
EDITED 20250125 I have actually had Multiple successes. My Holy Grail Crater from my fellow Lopaka @Lopaka KaMars and to date three other MARS! Also a full deck of X-Metal’s from here on the forum…very reasonably so it “can” happen
* For this definition..."Beater" means structurally sound. No boxes, coins, lenses, or even rubber are required.
