That's so sad but very true. I'd bet most people don't even know what happened to that little boy. Guess his life didn't matter.

The sad state of affairs with modern society. Too many sheeple running around waiting for the government and media to tell them what to do and how to think.

I only take home 60 cents for every dollar I earn, then pay 9% sales tax on anything I buy, so we're down to effectively 51 cents for every dollar I earn... then property tax too.. then student loan bills with interest... Just about impossible to break out of the middle class anymore

All for the government to be incredibly inefficient and reckless with all the money they've confiscated from hard working citizens!

Not just reckless downright criminal.
Can't agree on something? It's cool, recess for 3 months, I'll be at my villa in San Tropei (or something similar).
House/Senate reps get free healthcare, for life, their entire families, no healthcare bills for LIFE (not just when in office, even after and until death!)
Meanwhile I'm paying $500+ a month for insurance I don't even use!
I'm writing this from work... 10 hour days and on call between shifts, 90 hour pay periods and not a single day vacation since June of last year!! And STILL 300k under water (mortgage, student loans)
Frustrated is not the word, I don't have a word for this

Plus, most if the time politicians are exempted from the onerous garbage legislation they pass!
