I agree. I had cross-hair as a daily wearer for 3 years and loved them. There is a ballistic black standard issue one I think that looks awesome and will run you about 250 aud. Not sure if that's a good price or not

Most of my collection (except m frames) is non-o-matter stuff...

I started with Jupiter Carbon, Jupiter factory Lites, carbon blade, carbon shift, latch alpha...

but if you only want metal, a pair of hatchets have a cool Oakley style. Badman too, if the hinges don’t break. I like the half wires and wiretaps too. Those are old school. Wait a bit and you can pick em up for a good price.

Holbrook metals are a blast. I like to customize em. Lots of room on the side to pick up the paint. And the lenses are nice and big.

lately it’s been apparition, Lugplate, deadbolt, chrystl, diecutter, coldfuse. And I’m gonna customize em soon.

To be clear, "metal" as in X-metal is something distinctly different (i.e. more expensive) than wire glasses like tincan and wiretap. I can't comment on Tincan, but the New Wiretap would work for a bigger face. It is basically a half wire with a bigger, square lens. I assume you don't mean the original Wiretap which has a pretty small lens and no spring hinges, which is a detriment on a bigger face.

Can't recommend Tincans. They started corroding on the lower edge of the rim.

The Juliet is the perfect starter frame.

Like others have said, wait and be patient and you will find a well priced pair. They are the most common of all X Metals.

When you get it in your hands, and then on your face, angelic music just start playing softly in the background....
