Going to come across as a hypocrite here as i have been quite critical of Oakley watches.
Bought a MM off ebay i have left the package for 24 hrs. Upon removal out of packaging, Went to set time & Date. Unscrewed Crown, Upon pulling the crown out to set the time crown has come right out in my hand, Upon screwing it back in cannot get the hands to alter.

I guess it will be going back to the seller........

Did the whole stem come out with the crown as well? Could be an easy fix but, as you say, your first port of call is to contact the seller....

Hi Mark,
Yes it was wound right in, quite tightly so i unscrewed it, pulled it gently and out it came. Interestingly the date on the D/W was the 17th, Which was the same as what it was when i opened the package this morning. I am so annoyed, I have the hassle of packing it back up, We are shielding so i have to rely on my nigh on 80 year old mum to sort it for me. I should of done the deal with you on that Red one, I just got this a bit keener & i wanted to polish it, Bought the polishing stuff you recommended the lot.
Pissed off isn't the word.....

is the stem still attached to the crown? or has it unscrewed from it or has the stem snapped?

Just out of interest who and how much is it for a battery change on these watches?
In the UK that is.
Normally, I would go to my local watch specialist but I recently paid £15 for my last one which was in a local Timpsons.
