Motorcycle Thread?

This may have been covered but i have found the following....

X squared... Not good for riding. Got my eyes wind blasted... Looked like i had been crying for days by the time i got off.

Jupiter carbon... Perfect riding pair! Thing has aweosme coverage, rarely feel any wind, even at 90+mph.

Just need clear lenses and another jupiter carbon frame :)

2014 Yamaha bolt r spec

I own 6 motorcycles: a 2003 Kawasaki ZX-6R, 2007 Suzuki DR-Z400SM, 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250, 2009 Yamaha FZ1, 2014 Yamaha BWS50, and my favorite track toy is this modified 2006 Honda CRF450R motard. I have taken lots of bikes to the track but nothing can hold a candle to the CRF when it comes to pure fun. I can't look at it and not smile :).

The FZ1 is the most recent addition to the fleet and was purchased as a good 2-up bike to bring my 12 year old daughter along for the ride. I have put some serious miles on it and my wife doesn't have to massage me after I peel myself off it, unlike the Ninja 250 and ZX-6R. The DR-Z400SM is a blast around town and the BWS50 gets me 132mpg so is a great choice for running errands. The ZX-6R has been with me since 2004 and is part of the family now, and my wife's choice when she decides to ride. The Ninja 250 was one of those deals I couldn't turn down when a buddy offered it to me for a stupid low price back in the fall of 2000. My son will be riding it this year. I only have pics of the CRF and FZ1 on this computer but will try to update my post with pictures of the rest.

Other bikes I have owned include a 1989 Yamaha FZR400W (bought new in 1991), new 1999 Suzuki SV650S , new 2000 Kawasaki ZZR250 , new 2003 Honda VFR800 , new 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600 (hated it), and used 2004 Kawasaki ZX-6RR race bike which was a former Canadian national championship winning bike (bought it in 2006 and loved it, but my job wouldn't allow a full race season schedule so I sold it to a friend :().

I love the look of the new R1. Yamaha recalled every R1 and R1M sold, to replace the gearbox and ordered a stop sale. I am not sure if the new R1S was involved in the recall. My beloved FZ1 is no longer in the lineup for 2016 but Yamaha is offering this new MT-01 in other parts of the world:

Recall:
RECALL: Yamaha 2015 YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M

I was thinking of getting the R1M.

That sucks.
I'm sure Yamaha will figure it out. R1M is an amazing machine. I have seat time on my brother in law's 1999 and 2007 R1s. Great bikes. The 1999 still holds it own 17 years later.

I push the bikes really really hard too and don't hold back. A malfunction like that would be very bad.

Why is this the first time I've seen this thread??
Got off the sport bikes for the time being and picked up this Night Rod Special last summer. I'd rode one before, but not like they were mine. This baby is a beast and super torquey.
What's Ive done so far:
V&H Comp Series exhaust, High Flow A/C & Dyno, Arnott Air Suspension. Also I put some bar end mirrors on and a custom plate mount. Deleted the rear turn sigs and replaced them with some tag bolts that have LEDs in them. Wired em straight in so everything functions as it should. Low profile fits with my likes.
