Mumbo 1st gen nose piece earsock kit

Hi guys!

i just bought on market place from an old lady a brand new mumbo nose piece earsock kit in pink! They are brand new never installed but they are kind of sticky.
Do you know what would help remove this sticky stuff?

You could try boiling them 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water

Are the actual grips sticky? With the old ones boiling them might work but could damage them.

Only if they’ve deteriorated and are literally falling apart already. I’ve never ruined any rubber from boiling

Those socks are old old. It’s just not something I’d risk with pink mumbo socks.

I did it to a set of lightly used new m frame socks and one sock got all play dough feeing lol

I’ve boiled socks that were the same age as those and for a mumbo
