My guess is that 5/23 means May 2023 when the card was probably printed. That is terrible it comes with 2 different shocks.

If possible I would dig a close up straight on photo of the front and back of the coin. I’m really digging that (new?) MARS logo.

Hard to tell but looks like the stitching on the right one is perhaps better and tighter.
