Ahhhhhh that make sense didn’t thought of that…..They didn’t want them serialized so they could sell as many as they want and tell people limited edition. They made at least an extra 100 pairs for oakley sponsored athletes and oakley vips
Those look pretty sharp there. Nice photos, congrats on the matching shocks. They look nice in the display box.
I didn't read where Jordan was mentioned or approved.Wonder if the author has one of the EBay pairs that started at $5k and dropping?![]()

Standing by. Mine show up tomorrow.Clearly these are part of the new Lux money grab marketing machine. These are branded as MUZM Mars X-Metal meant to be a “museum” quality replica of those originals. So clearly they are NOT the originals. To begin with their retail was 750X more expensive than the originals were. In terms of “x-metal” all Lux/Oakley says now is under FRAME MATERIAL - “X Metal material is an Oakley® proprietary titanium alloy created in 1997”
But all that said, my door cam just advised me something was left at my door an hour or so ago. My OGs which arrived last week are also still unboxed so when I get home I plan to do a full unboxing of both to compare the initial reaction, experience and quality of OG Mars vs MUZM Mars once and for all.
