New Oakley Cables, Unobtanium??

Seem to be unobtainum aka unavailable at the moment. Wanting clear frames with with Prizm Sapphire or Prizm Violet lenses..

Trying to understand what you mean. They make a clear frame with Sapphire. Unobtanium is there rubber material not the frame material if thats what your asking

In the Oakley community; "Unobtanium" is reserved for Earsocks and Nosepieces. Unavailable is more geared towards difficult to find.

Unobtainium, the trademarked term, originated as play on the 'unobtainable' word, and itself meant something that was impossible to obtain (in the 90s, for other brands).
@Rockman had just played on the same words to imply the particular model was hard to find.

Buddy, the Cables was a very average frame. If that's hard to find, you could try a Gibston, which is available in the same colorway and is an identical fit.

I just had a quick look around and I see the Cables in Polished Clear/Sapphire P available aplenty. Try using the SKU (OO9129-05) to search.

Thank you, I just bought a pair of Gibstons in clear frame Prizm Violet last week. I like them very much.
