Hello, all - this is my first post. Came across this forum while researching replacement lenses for a pair of Felon's that began to delaminate while on vacation this summer and for a pair of Warden's that have seen better days. Read through many of the replacement lens guides and comparisons which were very helpful. Thanks to all who contributed to those resources. Ended up going with the Fuse AMP line for both but, unfortunately, the lenses did not fit properly. Fuse sent a second set of lenses that did not fit correctly either. With both frames the Fuse lenses were cut too small and would not secure. Have a set of Seek Lenses for both on the way. Hopefully they will fair better. As for my history with Oakley’s, I have been wearing them for close to 30 years now and am excited this forum exists as I have already learned much from the guides and member posts. Thank you to all who contribute and make this forum possible. The attached picture are of what I’ve picked up over the years (Not sure why the picture is upside-down as I tried multiple times to change it to no avail). My first pair from when I was 13 years old are the carbon fiber M Frame's in the back. A year or so later after saving enough from mowing yards in the neighborhood I bought the Zero 0.6’s. It took a while after that but then I bought the E Wire's and Frogskins. The rest have been picked up in the years that have followed. Was certainly excited when Oakley began re-releasing some of the Zero line as I was unable to buy them all those years ago. I understand they are not the same as the originals, but they serve the purpose to me at least. If anyone is interested, the sunglasses in the picture are as follows from L to R:
- Hijinx (Bruce Irons)
- Dartboard (Polished Black/Black Iridium)
- Sutro (tried to mimic my carbon fiber M Frame)
- Frogskin (Crystal Black/Violet Iridium)
- Frogskin (Crystal Black/+Red Iridium)
- Deviation (Polished Black/Black Iridium Style Rep lenses)
- Gauge 6 (Powder Coal/Prizim Black Iridium)
- Contrail (Matte Black/Prizm Black Iridium Polarized)
- M Frame (Carbon Fiber/Black Iridium)
- New M Frame (Black/Black Iridium)
- Crosshair (Titanium/Titanium Iridium Polarized)
- New Crosshair (Matte Black/Black Iridium)
- Warden Hammer (Silver/Grey)
- Zero 0.6 (Cobalt/Blue Iridium)
- Collectors SubZero (Carbon Fiber/Prizm Black Iridium)
- Collectors SubZero (Finger Print/Prizm Black Iridium)
- New Zero 0.4 (FMJ Platinum/Emerald Iridium)
- Felon (Matte Black/Black Iridium Polarized)
- E Wire Gen 1(Light/Black Iridium)
- E Wire Gen 1 (Dark/Black Iridium)
- Square Wire Gen 1 (Black/Black Iridium)
- Square Wire Gen 1 (Light/Black Iridium)
Hoping to expand a bit and eventually track down a Zero 0.3, XX (X-Metal/Black Iridium), XS (X-Metal or Carbon), and an R1 (X-Metal). Looking forward to being an active part of the community. All the best.
PS. Searched and haven’t seemed to find an answer if the New M Frame stems can be tightened as they are quite loose.
