Vinegar 3-1 with water? Seems like too much vinegar, no?Boiling doesn’t destroy them , and yes vinegar does seem to get better results. Good luck

1 part vinegar to 3 parts waterthank you for the response! thats what i found out too, reasearching in this lovely forum: )
for anyone who is having the same problem, heres what i found out:
someone added vinegar (3 parts and 1 part water) and boiled it for 15-20min, seems like the more sticky it is, the longer you have to boil it
another option would be buying m frame earsocks and cutting them, they seem to fit
im just really scared to boil them and totally destroying them, as i would rather wear them sticky instead of having no earsocks at all
thanks again

i wrote it wrong again, 3 parts water, 1 part vinegar methodsorry for the mistake, 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water, i used a little more than 1 part vinegar
i did it on half jacket rubber pieces first, then the minute earsocks
result is okay, i can imagine they will get sticky again mayber after sun and heat exposure, still happy with the result! i hope the result is somewhat noticeable: )
i can recommend still this technique if you have sticky earsocks and wanna restore themView attachment 1149252
