Believe it or not, some Oakley fans bitched about the X-squared when it first came out. I happened to stumble on a thread from way back then. Couldn’t believe it. We didn’t know how good we had it back then

I can see why not many would like them. But yeah you guys had it good back then. I feel Oakleys are losing their relevance on the East Coast. I still need to go to a vault 4 hours from my house...

I agree. A lot of Oakley stuff is in California

Especially around Lake Forest and Foothill ranch. Right near HQ. Lots of old school employees still around there. A lot of good things come up for sale still to this day.

Definitely stay out of LA and San Francisco. Orange county and San Diego are still cool though(for now).

It’d be sweet if they serialized these. They are cool. Do I think they are worth 1500 not really but if they were serialized with the box and with the pricing of regular oakley frames now days it’s not terrible. Maybe it’s because it reminds me of dune but I think it’s kind of unique. This mask could pay for itself in a day if you just rob a bank with it…
