For what it's worth, $520 isn't exactly a price that's "too good to be true", which a lot of the scammers do for quick cash and disappear.

Unfortunately not even that can guarantee a safe transaction . Someone who is in actual possession of the item can figure out a way to exploit the PayPal G&S requirements to redirect a fake package to another address.

As was such the case with this scammer

I was a power seller for many years and a trusted buyer always. I work in the consumer electronics business and I'm fully aware of the wholesale, retail and used price markets

As @Neckcutta has said, people can video call him directly just to start.

As long as you pay by PayPal G&S and get him to send a picture of the address he posts to, and then videotape the opening of your package when it arrives, you should be just fine…should be…

Simple…..not!!

I think that’s what I’m gonna have to do from now on….with EVERYONE.
