Never been much of an NFL fan...don´t think that is going to change with the sh!t the players pull now.

I am not american, but even i think it's disgusting....

most comments online goes like this : 22 years of dedicated service to this great nation. "US Navy retired" A Life long Steelers fan until now, that has all come to an end as of today and all interest in the NFL.

and

This is only the beginning...The actions of these players (all 4 major sports) will have a tremendous ripple effect in America. It will further disgust the majority of Americans that find these actions unacceptable, and further divide an already divided country.

Disrespecting The Flag in which Soldiers took Bullets for and died painful deaths in is unacceptable and will not be tolerated no matter how much people try to spin it..

My husband enlisted to serve this country when it wasn't popular to do it. He is a Vietnam veteran. He was spit on and called names for his six years of service. Now these sport players think it is just fine to slap the faces of service people past and present by not standing for this country. My husband not only talks the talk he walks it as well. By that I mean he has written to the NFL and their advertisers that he will no longer support them by watching the games or buying products from those that support the NFL and now the NBA. These spoiled players don't have a clue to what it takes to be an American that served. I hope everyone steps up and stops supporting these teams and players..................
