Week 6. Redskins Dolphins. Winner is not the worst team in the NFL

Playing the Dolphins this year is akin to a bye - less any injuries sustained in the game.

I would believe that the Dolphins start every game this year as an underdog. They may end up winless.

However that being said, Miami has been an in-between team for too long and the clear tanking is their attempt at trying to start again. That and of course trading any player that is worth draft pick/s.

Does tanking work?

Putting young elite talent in a position to lose by not surrounding them with some talent, may impact on players attitude. A culture of losing is not worth it in my humble opinion.

To me - culture is the most important aspect of a sporting franchise. With good culture you attract the GM and coach and then the better quality players. See New England. They routinely draft in positions 30 or lower yet still have been able to win 10 plus games consistently for close to two decades. Now can they continue to thrive after TM12 and/or BB has retired. That is the key question.
