That was an all-time classic! Without Kittle and Sanders the 49er offense was desperate for someone to step up. Those drops by Bourne were back breakers! Great game by two very talented well coached teams though. I think their second division game is the last of the regular season. They may see each other in the playoffs for a third game. NFL has made such an emphasis in recent years on player safety, protecting QBs(and other "defenseless players"), etc...

And this dude really grossly violated all of that...on national TV....in the final seconds of a game....that his team was winning.

It just makes no sense.

I would expect a long suspension. Maybe a year? I hope they give him the death penalty.

Or better yet, leave him in a room with the Pouncey Brothers for a few minutes.

Browns/Steelers rematch in 2 weeks. Will be interesting to see what happens. Does Baker have a target on his back now?

Sure what Garrett done was unnecessary and egregious, but let's stop acting like he beat a poor defenseless 10 year old to a pulp and then kicked his puppy too. Rudolph is a grown ass nfl player! He's a big boy. Lets also remember that Rudolph got pissy first and tried ripping off Garrett's helmet, he's not innocent. The over reaction is nauseating and dangerous. This is what American society has become

The hit by damarious randall was much more egregious and will have far more impactful lasting effects on the victim! Rudolph was plum fine. Johnson had to be carted off the field and was bleeding from his ear! He will likely miss multiple games dealing with what has most certainly got to be a concussion of some severity. But by all means let's get all in a tizzy because a qb got smacked with a helmet because he was being a lil bitch!

Myles is the little bitch. Late tackle and stayed on top of him. I dont know what @Oaks 'Between The Hedges' is smoking but clearly Myles was the aggressor .
I hope the steelers file a police report. Thats felony assault right there.

Theres been a few analysts on that try to claim Rudolph was the instigator.

8 seconds left in the game. Steelers down by 14 but they have to run one play to end the game. Little screen dump pass. All the lineman on the field quit or ran out to block. Game was over.....

But here comes this one dude gonna hit the QB full speed like hes about to make the pro bowl or something. That was the cheap shot that started it, not rudolph grabbing the dudes helmet.
