Red Oakley watch selling for 18,000

Some guy is trying to sell a red Oakley Hollowpoint watch for 18,000 on eBay. I'm seeing orange ones but I'm not seeing any red ones anywhere. Did they make any red ones and how much is it worth?

Definitely not worth $18,000. It seems like Red has been rare for most watches. I am not sure why.

Yeah, there's a difference between selling one for 18K or listing one at 18k.

If I had to guess he didn't proof read and added one too many zeros. $1,800 is more like Ebay pricing trying to get un-educated people to over pay for products, price is more around $800-$1,000 depending on condition and packaging.

If you read description it will tell you why he’s listing it at $18,000.

Not sure how I feel about a sellers sob story bout NICU costs. To me it doesn’t seem appropriate to broadcast that on eBay in order to justify the asking price.

Is that even allowed on Ebay? To ask for a price based on financial needs?

Open market, you can price anything for outrageous prices, the downfall is when someone buys it for that price, then everyone will try selling at that price
