I do Critical Mass here in Kansas City every once in awhile. Looks the same way. Its a good time. Ride a bit, drink, ride a bit more then drink some more, U get the idea.

I think there may be 6 or 7 major cities around the nation that do it...

Its been around a while. They used to do it in my little city until someone got run over and two people got shot.

Critical Mass is a cycling event typically held on the last Friday of every month; its purpose is not usually formalized beyond the direct action of meeting at a set location and time and traveling as a group through city or town streets on bikes.

The event originated in 1992 in San Francisco;[1] by the end of 2003, the event was being held in over 300 cities around the world.[2]

Nothing special here. A road-bike i bought with my Christmas bonus; with a view to getting / keeping fit. Been doing a 10 mile loop around my town before work in the mornings. Sometimes after work too.......
