I like my pair a lot. I almost bought another one yesterday when they were available. I'd like to see some other colors though.

Well these were originally sold as a limited run and a mistake that was made in the cutting process. Now this certainly could have been and perhaps was total BS. However, for me that story adds to the allure of them. If they just starting making these “mistake” cuts with other lenses and producing as many different colors, etc as they want it would totally turn me off.

Yeah it’s weird, what’s with that pair Patrick Mahomes has? Chrome w/ Black arms… how could they have mistakenly make another color?

I don’t know man…I have a gold Xeus with no Oakley or Prizm script on the lens. Thought it was a mistake until someone told me that it might’ve been a pair originally intended for an Olympic athlete.

Haha. Yeah I heard that story as well. Same with that the first so many numbers were meant for athletes.

It’s true, the space encoder may have been a mistake and they made so many and that’s it. It’s also true that Oakley athletes especially Patrick Mahommes can say he wants anything made with any color, any lense, etc and they will make it for him. Or they just offer it to him as a total one off.
