Second ear sock done. I took the Mars Jordan template, cut the pink lizard out and laid it over the Juliet nose bridge. Then lots of micro-trimming. Then Barge glued it to some X-Metal Gray Gaffers tape. Same as I did with the MARS Standard. Needs to dry for 24 hours before cutting it out

Hey @sibolang I have to admit I planned on sandblasting this one back to X-Metal and using it for a custom…but it’s too darn nice! So now I’m keeping it Carbon.

I stuck OEM rubber and Tsuyakeshi matte black lenses in it. Makes for a sharp looking frame!

I’m gonna call this one done and hand it to the Wife

The Juliet nose bridge wrapping just did not look right…frankly did not even meet my minimum standard’s requirement (as you can tell by no picture)

On to the next project

Three and “perhaps” a fourth Valve 1.0 for custom fodder. The fourth (the black one sitting outside the silver-gold one) has a bit of warping on the right orbital. Lens won’t stay in sadly. Also makes it wide and loose on the head. Someone with a big melon was wearing it or it just got stomped on. Gonna try heat and slight changes to put in back into service.

Either way…off to the races on the other three!

Hey @Lopaka KaMars!?!? I’ve seen the coveted clear and also plain ole black…but these are the first dirty white plastic lugs I’ve run into. Course it’s also the first (know I’m gonna shock a person or two here…) Ducati lugs I’ve sand blasted. That having been said I now have an extra pair of unused Valve 1.0 Ducati lenses here

Hey @Lopaka KaMars!?!? I’ve seen the coveted clear and also plain ole black…but these are the first dirty white plastic lugs I’ve run into. Course it’s also the first (know I’m gonna shock a person or two here…) Ducati lugs I’ve sand blasted. That having been said I now have an extra pair of unused Valve 1.0 Ducati lenses here

The white lugs are similar to what I found on NSJ’s. So there must be a mixture there like with the Valve 1.0’s.

Have you found any clearable NSJ lugs? I have that one new Kings Camo pair that was already an amber...I admit I was sure curious when I saw it. I only have two other NSJ and have not tinkered with them yet.

Sandblasted and ready for primer…not digging these dirty white lugs. Funky material…but oddly suits this particular custom

No. The only NSJ I ever took apart and painted myself was a Livestrong black frame and yellow lug, And it had a white lug like the Valve 1.0 Ducati. Not sure what color would be clear underneath. Maybe that camo one already had a clear lug with it.
