Alrighty then! Left…plain rustic orange on the temple and Tamiya transparent orange on the lug. On the right a few light coats of Krylon transparent sea glass amber.

Looks better to me…less pumpkin pie

The darn Glow-X Orange worked for five seconds and froze. Got an email in to Amazon. Probably just order another can. UGH!

pumpkin pie and more Rebel Alliance.

I had a weird glop on one temples and used my ole method of a thinner soaked cotton swap to clean it…took too much I guess and had to recoat that part. When I added the layers of amber sea glass there was a weird chemical reaction. I liked it…so I did the same thing to the other temple.

Sooo…not much change here. I re-stripped the medium blue off the lugs. Awaiting the Duplicolor light metallic blue.

Also waiting on another can of Glow-X Orange.

The red is still sitting there curing and waiting for lenses as well.

Forced patience is better than none at all I guess!

I’m getting closer and closer each time. The Duplicolor is closest but still not there.

Think I’m gonna have to face facts and order a spray can of Porsche Ice Blue Metallic or I’m never gonna be happy

Gotta say I’m disappointed in the Glow-X Orange. To be fair they say for full effect use the white base paint. But as this was over a transparent part…nope. Does not even glow orange…more a white

Green and Blue were both so amazing…I used the green once without a base coat and it was still outstanding (last pic…green Glow-X, no base over a Uranium Flak).

SpecialAdvisor Valve 1.0 Mk. 13 “DAREDEVIL” Rustoleum Gloss Crimson Red Orbitals, Temples, Lugs, and Icons, Duplicolor Red Anodized misting on the Lugs. With Unidentified Black lenses (trying to sort some Tsuyakeshi Matte Black for them).

For now leaving them gloss…may matte up the orbitals and temples at a later time.

You forgot to paint the lenses black though...

Heh…well to my memory Daredevil’s mask lenses were usually a matte or dark red. In the MARVEL series and more importantly when I used to read the comics in the Frank Miller era.

I think I mentioned I originally planned on Ikon +Red…but it just seemed like too much RED. I do have multiple pairs in other Valve 1.0s. Could always test it out.

Cap was always my favorite…but when I was ticked or just in a dark mood, I always gravitated to Daredevil

Tinkering within the parameters of “The Monet Code” is sometimes akin to being in a car driven by a really smart kangaroo. While the kangaroo might go up on the curb a couple of times, it will ultimately get you where you wanted to go…but I still wanted more orange glow
