Soooo….this is (I hope) a structurally sound Juliet nose bridge.

Poor thing was maltreated by someone in possession of an unauthorized pin pusher. Looking at it the first reaction would be DANG! Or maybe OUCH!

I basically shrink-wrapped it in ultra thin kidskin. Soooo…now…where is that smudge or chip…or whatever it was?

Hey @THE X-MAN as the likely leading authority…having seen more maltreated nose bridges than anyone…better than tossing it in drawer aye?

No clue how it’ll hold up…probably better to not go all the way to the temple…I’m guessing it’ll peel back with use…course that’s what more glue is for.

Fair enough…probably have to clip the bit off the other end as well. We shall see…gotta sort the other side first either way. I was mostly interested if it “could” be done.

That having been said I do like having the balance of the raw metal at each end.

Now and again…not only do I listen to input…but I actually implement it

Felt the same way myself…but just wanted to see what a fully leather encased X-Metal stem would look like.

Still need to burnish the edges a bit more. Get rid of of that rough edges look.

For my taste…these are a Quantum Leap improvement over the original Mahogany…which wasn’t bad…just too shiny and slick.

I have no clue what metal they used for the icons and the temple armature…but I’m glad they did it that way. Makes a great contrast to the warm copper of the frame.

These frames may not be MARS…but they sure do look like they should be “on” MARS!

Sure hope the Icelandic Wolf Fish will lay on this well…
