Hey Guys,

I have some OEM rubber parts for my Juliets that I've taken off and cleaned with soap and water. I let them air dry then put them in a little plastic bag for safe keeping in my Juliet box. But when I take them out they look like they've "sweated" and it's gross looking. Anyone have any idea why? Could it have been the soap? Is it the plastic bag? or is it possible these pieces just do that after a long time? Any explanation or insight would be appreciated.

It's the nature of unubtanium.
Some people boil there rubbers to extract the oils with varying levels of success.
I've also tried leaving the rubbers in a small Ziploc baggie filled with uncooked white rice. It worked just as well as the boiling method for me, if not a bit better.
If you clean them religiously, they will last longer. But I've never had an OEM set of rubbers last for very long if worn daily...but I'm a sweaty guy.

Like I said, I never seen anything like this. Maybe some other members could chime in. One good thing, all those parts can be replaced easily. Take care!
