Sylas VS Holbrook

I'm in the market for a pair of prescription sunglasses. Im torn between the Prizm Sapphire Sylas and the the Prizm Sapphire Holbrook. Is the lens size and frame larger on the Sylas than the Holbrook, do they come in different sizes? I have two pair of Holbrook and while the lens size appears to the the same there in a small difference in frames sizes between the two pair as noted on the inside of the temple arms. The clear Sylas frames with the Prizm Sapphire are beautiful sunglasses but the one time I looked at them in person, they seemed a bit big on my face.

Thanks

The Holbrook's lenses are a tad taller and more squarish, the Sylas are more rectangular. Width is mostly the same, 57mm vs 58mm.

Thank you for response.

Interesting, did they make an XL Sylas? The one pair I looked at and tried on, felt big. I just dont want to spend several hundred dollars on a pair of glasses I dont like or dont fit right.

Interesting! I seem to see two sizes for the Sylas here. Though I've never officially heard of a Sylas XL

Sylas comes in two sizes but does not use XL in the name.
Thanks for the clarification! My experience with the Sylas was rather limited (just one day). Returned it as I was unsatisfied with it's flimsy build. @Rockman hope you've evaluated the build/strength of the frame.

Honestly didnt get that far as they were just too big for my face.

The big thing is the frame flexibility. Holbrooks are very rigid frames. Sylas and Sliver (Same family it feels like) are more flex depending on your head size. So they will be more comfortable if the frame width is undersized to your ear to ear distance. Just my 2 cents.

Also the Sylas is going to be lighter frame I think.

I ended up going to the Oakley store in OVPKS and order prescription set of Holbrooks. They actually had a set of clear frames set up for custom. So I got those and put in my prescription for a set of Prizm Sapphire lenses. Should be in next Friday or so. And while I was there picked up a set of Sylas clear from with Prizm Sapphire lenses.. I just like Oakleys.. ;)
