Tajima replacement lenses

I am sending off a pair of non-branded glasses to them this morning, purchased the Rose/Copper with Silver mirror.

Apparently they use Urethane, which is basically Trivex, the material used in prescription glasses.

Oh, we're halfway there:

their mail carrier must be about as terrible as mine

They are already working on it, woo-hoo!

We have finished inspecting your frames and confirmed all the details of your order so your new lenses are now in production.

The estimated turnaround time is 2-4 business days to custom cut and install your new lenses. Once your lenses are installed and pass our final inspection stages, they will ship back to you. You will receive another email with tracking information when they do ship.

If you have any questions or want an update at any time, please let us know.

Thanks,
The Tajima Direct Team

& they arrived already, which kind of shocked me!

I could barely drive here from Huntington that fast on my own, & I have.
2,700 miles!

much better saturation than most other Rose lenses I have experienced & a lot more than Maui Jim in the same material, which they call Maui-Brilliant

likely going to send off a set of Kaenon Burnet-Mid to them next, but for the Brown/Green Mirror

my closest comparison to an Oakley lens would be Tungsten:

not quite as vivid as Kaenon Ultra Coastal Green Mirror or Wiley X Captivate Green Mirror, but the nice thing is this could be installed in almost any frame
whereas with Kaenon & Wiley X, you would need to buy the whole thing for about $200

& Tajima Brown/Green-Mirror is probably more similar to those I mentioned
& this rose-copper is similar to Wiley X Captivate Copper/Bronze-mirror

I put these in the cheapest frames I have, which seems criminal, but they fit my face just about perfectly & have the wider temple-arms that I prefer, plus they are very lightweight:
