Hi all! I have a pair of Juliet Plasma’s that have been DOA for a year now due to 2 issues. 1) The nose bridge is getting really loose and 2) I incredibly managed to scratch the left lense twice so I have 2 pristine right lenses and two junk left lenses. Perfect!

So I will be shipping them to Xman soon (thanks to this website) yet I am unclear about the lense issue. So can anyone point me in the right direction? I know people here do custom cuts etc so that may be the way to go since the OEM lenses are hard to come by.

Okay cool! I’ll get in touch with him. Now to decide on a finish. Any problem with refinishing them as to affecting value? I suppose it doesn’t matter because I’ll never sell them and I could go back to plasma if I wanted to, right?

Custom coating a Plasma Juliet really doesn’t affect its resale value because it’s so common...

Now, custom coating a Plasma XX is just plain stupid lol...that will kill the value of that particular pair...

Tightening it and getting some new lenses is going to cost money for you, but don’t expect to flip those glasses for any “real significant profit” afterwards...

Oh yeah I’m not selling them. Had them for 6 years before the lense mishaps started happening and then no more Oakley replacement lenses. Which is so dumb I can’t fathom it.

So I’m gonna look, over the refinishing options. The Tio2 finish looks badass as does the reverse Tio2 that you got done. Decisions decisions.
