Gloss black you say?
@THE X-MAN hooked me up some months ago with this refinish on my X-Squared. Worked with him and it was smooth sailing once he said "put it in the comments box." Also, because I'm the nostalgic type, even knowing that it isn't as important as a serial number, I requested to have the Carbon model # preserved, to which he obliged.

As expected, fantastic work. Very much like a polished carbon, but a tad less shiny and a deeper black closer to O-matter polished black. Smooth surface to the touch, but still has a textured metal look up close. IMO, Not as aggressive as X-MAN's Stealth black, but still gets the right amount of due attention.

Now one of my favorite pairs. Thank you, @THE X-MAN!
