To buy or not to buy….Meta

Flirting with the idea of getting maybe the Oakley Meta HSTN. I do not really like how I look in them. The Vangaurds are too big even with my big face.. the warm grey is the cheapest I like the lenses .. there is a black but I don’t like those lenses as much.. I can cash in some receipt app gift cards and get them for free or about 150 bucks.. I would hate to buy these and then they come out with Holbrook Meta in 6 months.

I wont pick up anything electronic from lux anymore after owning an Airwave and Pace. The only thing that would have made it worse is if I picked up an inferno, then I'd have the Trifecta of suck.

I’ve got a pair of META AI HSTNs. I had @Chris A Hardaway make me some transitions lenses with readers for them.

Also got a pair of Ray Ban Skyler’s for Christmas…same capabilities.

They work well…we do a lot of travel so they are cool to send travel video snips to family and such. Very handy to take pics without digging out your phone. Also interesting features like what am I looking at and live translation.

I guess the value is how much you’ll use em and what you’d use em for.
