I'm not a huge fan of carbon but these are really nice. Definitely try to snag them.

He has two identical pairs,wants to tune them up...they are both factory tight and I would rather buy them than mess with them.ill do what I can though.

It's probably that late gen orbital tab. You know like the IH ones. Maybe let him know that an earlier one will be tighter.

I've seen a carbon x squared where half of the frame was like that like it sat in sunlight or faded somehow more on one side than the other.

Yeah if they were sitting in the sun the top or front would be one color of the back shade inside will be another but that's not the case it's all uniform. I'm guessing it was a batch they ran that day or week to where they didn't put in enough color during the final process.

I've seen a few of these silver Carbons too and they are pretty. Almost like a Dark Plasma, but not like Polished Carbon.

It's actually a Dye that they use to change the color
