Using Multi-Tool as Watch display

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this thread, not much modding required.
I just realized that instead of searching for another X-Tall Aluminum X-Metal Watch Display I could use the Oakley Grip B1B Driver Multi Tool Kit I just purchased and received for another Forum Member. The tool itself is taller then the 3.5” aluminum block but it fits my needs perfectly, I was already raising the x-metal watch display up just about 1.5”, the exact height difference of the tool anyways. The watch glorifiers fit into the hexagon tool hole almost perfectly. The glorifiers I have are 3D printed and just needed a bit of sanding in a couple areas very quickly. Just don’t sand it down to much, you want it tight!
I was able to source three of these multi-tools very quickly for $50 each, (2 came from very cool Forum Members: Brettc10 & Nortika). The members on this forum are so helpful and knowledgeable it really makes a difference for people like me who are learning. I will now be able to replace two of the X-metal blocks I was using and stop the search for the third my project required. So now instead of having 3 of the X-Metal Aluminum watch displays in the back of my cabinet I will have three of these B1B multi-tool displaying my watches. I will still have X-
Metal aluminum displays upfront and center, let’s face it they look very cool, but now I’ll have a bit of variation in my displays.
I think it’s a great option for displaying your watches in the back of the cabinet that people may not have thought about. I also now have a couple of the X-Metal Watch displays that I can use outside my display cabinet for any of the watches I acquire that don’t make the cabinet cut.
Please note that that pictures don’t represent a finished product. I am still working out spacing and fine turning, I’ll straighten it all out once I know what is going where and I get all the B1B Multi-tools I’ve purchased.

Tyvm, it’s a work in progress. A few more select pieces and then I’ll be able to chill. Right???
I have no idea how I missed them (that time in my life was very hazy, lots of mind altering activities, I got married/found opiates, not sure which did more damage) but I recently discovered the Oakley X-Metal line and I love them. Fortunately there’s no possible way it will cost me as much as my ex-wife.

Dam… I thought I wrote this for a second…
