Restoration of plasma finish on timebombs

Hello OF,

I have been wanting to get my hands on a timebomb for a while and there's one for sale near me for not cheap but relatively low compared to your average tb. I've been into timebombs for long enough to know it's real. I just have a few questions for those more knowledgable than me:

1. From the pictures I can see it has scalloped strap links. I don't know if this was actually designated "Gen 2" but I know it's a slightly later design. Are there any significant differences between the two models other than the strap? I personally prefer the straight link as a design (especially since it's "the original") but if they are identical otherwise then I'll seriously consider buying.

2. There are a few very light marks on the glass. I hear that timebomb glass is no longer available as a part. Should I be concerned that it will be irreplaceable if I were to accidentally cause further damage? Is it possible to restore existing glass if it's scratched?

3. This is my main question. The seller says that the case and strap have been "polished" because of past wear and I can see in the pictures that they do have a more brushed finish. Although it's still very much matt, it does have a sort of shiny linear grain that anyone who knows their oakleys would notice (and it stands out to me). Are there people who can restore the plasma finish? I know this is done often for X-metals and the like, but I can't find a lot of evidence that watches often have plasma finish restored. If this is doable affordably then I'll certainly consider investing in the drip.

Please forgive me if any of this is answered on the internet already. I have tried to find the info myself but I can't quite get the answers I want.

Thank you in advance.

- Straight Link "Gen 1" sucks and pinches. "Scalloped" is better.
- @Bonz-1 does all of my TB and Icon crystal Polishing. It is possible for MOST to be perfect, but I've sent him some real junk and he's gotten it very good! The TB glass is a bummer, scratches very eeasy.
- There were two options "Titanium" and Polished Titanium. The "matte" can be accomplished with media blasting similar to the X-Metal sunglasses @zwc0442 does that for me (I don't remember if Bonz does it)
None of the Original finishes were plasma on the TB1. They did have an "Ion plated" but that was black only.
